Camp NaNoWriMo
Camp NaNoWriMo begins on April 1st. Is there anyone else who is planning on participating?
For those who don't know, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a yearly challenge in November to write at least 50,000 words of a novel between the 1st and the 30th. A few years ago, they launched a more stripped down version called Camp NaNoWriMo that takes place on different months. Now it is more flexible than the original event. You can choose any word goal you want and it doesn't have to be fiction.
I'm planning on writing a murder mystery set in the afterlife; a character trying to solve her own murder. I really need to do some more plotting before it begins. I just love writing mystery. Dropping in clues here and there along with bits of misdirection is so much fun.
So does anyone else have any plans for next month's event?

A character trying to solve her own murder? That sounds awesome, by the way! I don't read a lot of mystery, and I suck at writing it because I don't know enough about, well, crimes and crime solving techniques, but your idea sounds awesome. Let us know how it goes if you do it! :D
