Date: 2014-10-26 02:30 pm (UTC)That's it exactly. If I haven't done creative writing in awhile, my palette of words is sadly bland. I keep reusing the same words and have trouble getting out the juicy details, and my dialogue sucks. Not to mention, it's harder to motivate myself to start at the beginning of the scene instead of just writing a few lines of the exciting part that's in my head.
But I guess you just have to keep at it until you get there again.
